The Boise Greenbelt stretches for almost 25 miles, extending from the Glenwood Bridge all the way to Lucky Peak State Park. Much of the path is paved but there are unpaved sections. The Greenbelt accommodates walkers, bikers, joggers, etc. Wildlife can be seen up and down the Greenbelt making it an ideal place for observers.

A popular summertime activity in Boise, to cool down, is floating the river. You can float the river by inner tube, kayak, or raft. If you get in at Barber Park and float to Ann Morrison Park the trip can take 2 to 3 hours and is a fun time for the whole family.
