Mother of Octuplets
As many of us heard about this I am sure we kind of were in AWE… and wondering how could this happen with technology so advanced. Yet it happened and of course not naturally. But as the story unfolds you find out that the woman that had the octuplets has six other children at home, she is a single mother, her parents went broke, partly because they had to support her and her alread six children, she refers to herself as a “professional student”… What the heck!! Now she is yammering about needing money to support her 14 children and wants $3.1 million for media interviews and commercial sponsorships.
I guess stupidity is rewarded. I only hope that people actually see this woman for what she is and not reward her. I can see six children now not getting the attention they need to grow up healthy while ending up on the streets.

Her family has told agents she needs cash from deals such as nappy sponsorship – she will get through 250 nappies a week over the next few months – and the agents will gauge public reaction to her story. A veteran from the ICM agency said: “If she wins over Oprah or Diane Sawyer, she will have the world at her feet.”
Her earning power, though, could be diminished by a growing ethical and medical controversy. Experts believe that the unnamed fertility specialists who gave her in vitro fertilisation (IVF), should not have implanted so many embryos, and in choosing to carry all eight to term, Ms Suleman ignored guidelines, risking both their health and her own.
US public reaction has been mixed: many have asked how an unemployed single mother can raise 14 children, as her first six have already strained the family budget. Angela and Ed Suleman, Nadya’s parents, bought her a two-bedroom bungalow in the suburb of Whittier in March 2007, but soon after got into debt and had to leave their own home.
Today’s paper discussed how the state of California was already helping to take care of this woman’s 6 other children and it is likely that the tax payers will have to flip the bill for all of them now… Come on Oparah! Pay her an outragous amount of money to be on your show and save the tax payers from having to flip the bill.
