Throwing a Fit
Every now and again you come across a story about people doing stupid things. Well recently we had a lady dump her soda pop on the counter at the VA Hospital because they charged her over $3 for it. Aparently she had been coming in for a very long time, bringing her father in, and would refill her mug and pay $1 to $1.50. Until this time that is, there is no notice, no sign and a refill at the convenient store is only around $0.80 so they are getting a pretty good mark-up.
Anyhow it pissed her off and she dumped it on the counter and left. She spent time with her father in the hospital and left. They tracked her down using video and her father’s medical records and are charging her for some crime that has a maximum 6 months in prison.
All this after the government bails out another bank. The tax payer is into this financial crisis to the tune of about $2,500 per. So much for that stimulas check!! But now the tax payers in Idaho need to settle this criminal case with more money when it should never of happened. They better not call me for jury duty on this one!
